A big playground
On June 6, downtown Utrecht will be transformed into a mega playground. Here everyone can come and play. The little ones can have their picture taken with Bing, meet Peppa, play hide and seek with Miffy or come and play in the Little Tikes Play Paradise.
Older kids can become LEGO Masters at Vredenburgplein, play with giant domino bricks, show off their dancing skills with Just Dance, try to solve the DOMunder Escape Room or trade their Pokémon cards.
All these activities will probably make you hungry so you can eat some popcorn and try out lots of different games in the meantime. If you have any energy left, a 41 meter long assault course will be waiting for you at the Vredenburgplein.
Are you coming to the heart of Utrecht
Everyone who comes to Speeldag Utrecht gets a map so you don’t have to miss a thing. Playday Utrecht takes place in the heart of Utrecht from 09:30 to 17:30 and is free to enter.
Registration is not necessary, but if you do via the website of Samen Spelen you have a chance to win a nice games package.
The Play Together plan
The Play Day is an initiative of the Election Toy of the Year, in cooperation with Kidsweek, Ypos, the Games Spectacle, Kika and Utrecht 900 Years. The Election Toy of the Year and Dutch toy publishers have developed the Play Together plan. This year plan consists of various toy projects with the aim of bringing positive attention to toys. The Play Together plan stands for Good Toys.
Good Toys means safe and tested toys, original and no imitations, high quality, optimal fun and as sustainable as possible. Good Toys excludes no one. Everyone participates.
